Draw and Explore
This course is designed to help you explore and discover what drawing can be and its endless possibilities. It is an explorative and fun based program that will nurture your sense of adventure, while building drawing skills and taking a deeper look at the importance of composition, proportion and perspective. You will use and combine a range of exciting drawing mediums and techniques.
Your newly discovered drawing skills will then be applied to a drawing project allowing your creativity to emerge with confidence in a supportive and enjoyable learning environment.
Course Outline.
Wk 1: Composition and colour
Wk 2: Proportion and scale
Wk 3: Perspective and foreshortening
Wk 4: Experimental drawing - new approaches
Wk 5: Experimental drawing - Exploration and discovery
Wk 6: Experimental drawing - Test and refine
Wk 7: Project - individually guided and mentored primary work pt 1
Wk 8: Project - individually guided and mentored primary work pt 2
Cost: $495
Times and dates: 1 day per week (Tuesdays) for 8 weeks. 9:30am to 2:30pm.
